About The Opportunity

As Experiential Events Specialist, you support Nature's Path vision that through organic, we will protect our planet by leveraging our business to inspire action and implement solutions that champion the health of our soil and provide universal access to organic food.

Through infield activations, you amplify brand love elevating our vision and brand purpose to develop authentic relationships with consumers. Nature's Path brand is the main focus of your initiatives and strategies, and where you provide experiential counsel and leadership to the brand team.

You have big ideas, ambitious with entrepreneurial drive. You're not afraid to work with and challenge your client team to deliver the best work without compromising on quality and our commitment to the experiential and field playbook and vision.

*Please note this is a 1 year contract*

 Critical outcomes for this role include:

  • Lead and develop experiential activations for Nature's Path brand with a focus of 70% brand experience and 30% product-focused sampling.
  • Provide support for Nature's Path corporate brand, EnviroKidz, Love Crunch and Que Pasa brands as required.
  • Authentically, emotionally and mentally connect to audiences by evoking all five senses with experiential event marketing tactics.
  • Manage event project timelines, shipments, contracts, and budgets.
  • Work with Field Marketing Manager and team to support experiential efforts and align targeted sampling efforts including sample forecasting.
  • Source and recommend preferred vendors that support our playbook commitment to sustainability and design ascetics.
  • Build relationships and partnerships with key industry stakeholders and like-minded brand partners.
  • Provide post-event recaps, budget analysis and participant feedback as well as conduct post-mortem sessions to incorporate learning into future event plans.
  • Evaluate competition and analyze ROI to provide key learnings and recommendations on experiential marketing and sampling initiatives.

 Success in this role will require:

Education

  • A degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications or related field

Experience

  • Preferably 5 to 7 years' experience in a public-facing, experiential marketing, project management role.
  • Excellent organization, leadership and project management, and follow-up skills.
  • Personable and friendly disposition.
  • Ability to take initiative and exercise excellent judgment. 
  • Working knowledge of all the Microsoft PC software programs.
  • FoodSafe certification an asset.
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare accurate budgets and effectively manage expenses.
  • Ability to effectively problem-solve in a changing and multi-tasking environment with multiple deadlines.
  • Ability to manage and coordinate efforts of other team members in support of events.
  • Ability to present and pitch ideas effectively to management.
  • Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
  • Willingness to travel as estimated 10-12 weeks annually.
  • Willingness to work weekends in exchange for days in lieu.
